The route starts from Las Colinas, takes 50 km and 860 altitude meters to complete and offers a mix of on- and offroad routes. The route offers splendid views on the lake of La Pedrera.

– Rebate, Carretera CV 952, km 10,5, 03190 Pilar de la Horadada. Top restaurant, located outside the touristic areas. Offers great food and services in combination with excellent wines. On Wednesday and Friday at lunchtime: flamenco dansers.
Mar Menor
– El Rubio 360°. High-end restaurant. Offers a 360° view on the sea and the Mar Menor lagoon. Excellent food and wines.
Torrevieja
– El Muelle, Calle del Mar, 1 | Paseo Marítimo Juan Aparicio, 03183 Torrevieja. Located on the Torrevieja boulevard – very trendy and busy restaurant with a great selection of Spanish food and wines.
– El meson de la costa. Very traditional, excellent restaurant with large selection of meat and fish, in a very cosy setting. They also have a library where you can enjoy the aperitive or post-dinner drinks. Highly recommended.

Places to visit
The area around Casa Madroño offers countless possibilities for shopping. It makes it a very convenient place to live and enjoy life. Prices are affordable.
- The Mini-Market situated near the Las Colinas Clubhouse. This mini-market offers the daily grocery store convenience one needs, and is only 2.5 km away from Casa Madroño.
- La Fuente Commercial Center: This shopping center is located on a ~5 km distance from Casa Madroño. It offers all you need for day-to-day living: two large, recently upgraded grocery stores (Aldi, Mercadona), a number of nice restaurants and a few specialty shops like Vinessence, a wine shop offering a fine selection of Spanish wines which we highly recommend to replenish the honesty bar.
- Shopping Boulevard Zenia: A great shopping center for all your regular shopping needs: MediaMarkt, Leroy Merlin, Alacampo, Decathlon, H&M, Masimotto, but also tapas restaurants, bars, cafés etc.

Embalse de la Pedrera
Parque Natural La Mata
This route can start from Las Colinas or from the center of Torrevieja. It allows to wander around one of the lakes of Torrevieja, with a selection of tracks from easy to moderate. It offers single tracks and splendid views on the lake. Total length varies with the selected combination of tracks.
Lakes of Torrevieja
This route starts from the center of Torrevieja, and crosses the residential area south of Torrevieja before circling the two lakes of Torrevieja. It crosses the citrus orchards around Torrevieja, passes the seaside and returns to the center of the city after approximately 60 km. the route is a combination of on- and off-road (pre-dominantly on-road).
Las Colinas - Rebate
Approximately 50 km of primarily asphalted route. Starts from Las Colinas, than mounts to the top of San Miguel de Salinas, goes to Rebate and then to Campoamor, partially alongside the canal.
Desamparados
Challenging tour in the hills surrounding Orihuela. The tour offers single tracks through the hills near Orihuela, crossing private citrus orchards and splendid mountain views. Hiking
Parque Regional de Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar
This beautiful hike goes around the Mar Menor lagoon, with a splendid view on the dunes and natural beauty of this area. One can walk for hours surrounded by the salt waters, and enjoy afterwards drinks and food in one of the restaurants nearby.
Hiking trails in the hills near Orihuela
Several beautiful tracks can be found near Orihuala, offering splendid views on the citrus orchards, mountains and the city of Orihuela up to the sea.
Parque Natural La Mata
Together with the neighboring natural parks of El Hondo and Las Salinas de Santa Pola , they form a triangle of wetlands of crucial importance for the development of the biological cycles of numerous species that use it both in their migrations and in their nesting or wintering.
